Last update: 1/1 2010 A new electronic shut-off system from Ukraine. Like the eShut-off from Alex this system use the lines to transfer signals from the pilot to the electronic circuit in the model This system will also let the pilot stop the engine at will. More information on Chornyys website
The thin pink wire is the antenna and the two gray wires is connected to the wire that will burn the string The switch turns the system on and off. The two LEDs show the state of the system The unit has a build in microphone. The system is only active when the engine is running. This prevents the system to activate and burn the string when the model is left on the ground. The pilot wears this control unit in the center circle The battery can be charged with a standard mobile phone charger
An earlier version of this system was shown at the European Champs in Belgrade. Battery and electronic was separated. The "activator" was a wrist band.
